The town of Besigheim sits on an outcrop above the Neckar River. Both the town and the surrounding vineyards are the feature of this hike. Probably best done in late October when the vineyards are yellow and red, the hike covers one of the most beautiful parts of the Neckar valley.
This walk takes you on a panorama tour of the Upper-Neckar Valley focused on the walled-town of Dilsberg. The density of castles and the dramatic topography of the landscape makes this one of the most picturesque scenes in Germany.
