The vineyards of the Palatinate stretch across the rolling hills of the Rhine Valley without end. Above the city of Worms are old terraces with the traditional huts once used by the 19th-century vineyard works for shelter. Overall, the hike offers a nice panorama of the Palatine landscape with occasional views of Worms. The hike should probably not be done in the Summer or with hard sunlight, as there is no shade most of the time.
