This hike takes you to two of the most visually impressive castles in the Westerwald. You will also try and get the best views of the castle from a distance, something often overlooked when hiking to a castle.
Deep in the Westerwald sits the great castle of the Solms family. Better described as a palace, it represents the 19th century ambitions of the Solms family. This hike is all about trying to get the best views of the castle.
