Apple Spiced Wine (Glühwein)

Ingredients
1l Apple wine (You could substitute with a dry cider, or better, a dry white wine, and then add apples or calvados to the pot with the spices)
1 Cinnamon stick
2 Cloves
4-5 Tbsp Sugar
Lemon slices for garnish
Directions
- Heat the apple wine in a pot, but try not to boil it
- Add the spices and sugar and keep warm, almost boiling, for about 5 minutes
- Taste, and add more sugar if desired. This recipe will taste more strongly like wine, so quite a bit of additional sugar may be desired
- In each glass, put a lemon slice at the bottom and pour the Glühwein into the glass
